Meet The Staff At Comforti Law

Linda was educated at the University of Connecticut and the University of New Haven, and has been employed in the legal field for over twenty years. She now specializes in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury litigation. Under the guidance of Attorney Comforti, Linda efficiently handles all of the firm’s workers’ compensation files including creating the file, compiling all of its critical data and attending workers’ compensation hearings. She also deals with personal injury claims and is well versed in commencing law suits and trial preparation in the state court system.

Linda is an avid equestrian and competes with her Hanoverian mare, Wunderlich, at New England dressage horse shows. She resides in Griswold with her husband, two horses, her beloved Australian Shepard, Andrew Lloyd, and her cat, Olivia Abigail Scarlett Francis Diana Camilla Tammy Fay Lambert.

Kathleen is a graduate of Endicott Jr. College and also attended Eastern Connecticut University.   She has been a paralegal in the Norwich area for over 35 years and has been associated with the Law Office of Lori M. Comforti for 4 years, specializing in the areas of probate, personal injury litigation and real estate.  Some of Kathleen’s office responsibilities include the preparation of Last Wills and Testaments, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney, and all aspects of probating of estates.  Kathleen also contributes in the timely preparation of personal injury cases from initial client contact to the trial phase.  In addition, she handles the preparation of both residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Kathleen and her husband, Jay,  reside in Norwich and have two children, Adam and Amy,  two grandchildren, Alexa and Emma, and are anxiously awaiting the birth of their third grandchild, Jenna.  Also included in the Piacenza family is their granddog, Doris.  While away from the office, Kathleen enjoys reading and gardening. 

Barbara is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University and began working in the legal field in 1989 at Carl D. Anderson & Associates, currently known as Anderson Law Firm.  She accompanied Attorney Ferdon when he opened his own firm, Dennis A. Ferdon, P.C., and handled his personal injury and workers’ compensation claims. Barbara now handles personal injury claims, including drafting complaints, directing discovery initiatives and assisting in trial preparation for court cases.  She also handles workers’ compensation cases, including working with insurance companies to resolve disputes, and attending workers’ compensation hearings.

Barbara resides in Voluntown with her husband, daughter, their German Shepherd, Shetland pony, two cats and five goats.  She enjoys gardening, reading and traveling.
