About Attorney Lori M. Comforti

Lori M. ComfortiAttorney Comforti graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 1985 with a B.A. in English.  She immediately went on to law school at The New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 1988.  Following law school, she returned to the Norwich area and obtained employment with the law firm of Carl D. Anderson & Associates, currently known as Anderson Law Offices, where she practiced for 13 years in the areas of workers compensation,  personal injury, and litigation.

In 2001, she opened her own law firm known as the Law Office of Lori M. Comforti, LLC, in Norwich.  Since 2001, she has continued to concentrate her practice in the areas of workers compensation, personal injury, litigation and the areas of wills and real estate. 

Attorney Comforti represents workers who are injured while working for various employers in Connecticut and at the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos.   Attorney Comforti and her experienced paralegals are versed in all areas of workers compensation law as it is practiced in the State and Tribal courts.

Attorney Comforti represents injured victims of motor vehicle accidents, and slip and fall accidents.  She and her experienced staff handle all phases of these cases from initial client interview to trial. 

Attorney Comforti is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, New London County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  She is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut State and Appellate Courts, State of Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Workers Compensation Commission and the Mohegan Sun Workers Compensation Commission.

Attorney Comforti serves on the Advisory Board for the St. Patrick Cathedral School of Norwich, and the Advisory Board for the Town of Montville Youth Services. 

Attorney Comforti resides in Oakdale.  She is a devoted Boston Red Sox fan and enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her children and beloved Labrador Retriever, Jack.
