Drivers are more distracted these days. We have all seen vehicles swerving due to drivers who are talking on the phone or texting. In 2010, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that driver distraction was the cause of 18 percent of all fatal crashes, resulting in 3,092 deaths and injuring 416,000 people. Distracted drivers cause property damage, injuries, and loss of life. Lead by example, DO NOT TEXT WHILE DRIVING. If your conversation is too important to wait, safely pull off the road.
